/ KOBO è uno studio creativo nato a settembre del 2020 dalla passione di due fotografe romane, Claudia de Nicolò e Bianca Trevisani. 

Lo spazio, collocato nel cuore della Garbatella, si occupa di sviluppare e realizzare progetti fotografici che spaziano dal mondo musicale a quello della moda e di seguire passo passo il percorso creativo, dalla direzione artistica fino alla post-produzione. 

Durante il suoi primi anni di vita KOBO ha collaborato con realtà internazionali di ogni genere, diventando il cuore pulsante di varie iniziative, quali campagne di moda, esposizioni artistiche e eventi culturali. 

KOBO Studio offre inoltre la possibilità di partecipare a corsi di specializzazione in fotografia base, post-produzione, sviluppo pellicola così come workshop e laboratori legati al mondo della fotografia e della creatività. 

Nel 2021 da vita al progetto “YOU/th”: una mostra collettiva che raccoglie, tramite una “Call4artist”, immagini di giovani artisti da tutto il mondo e che viene ospitata ogni anno in una galleria a Roma.  

Nello studio, situato in Piazza Giancarlo Vallauri 4, si può accedere ad un Bookshop dedicato a magazine, riviste, libri fotografici e fanzine indipendenti. 

Da febbraio 2024, per un weekend al mese, KOBO si trasforma in un “pop-up”, ovvero un piccolo evento aperto al pubblico in cui ospita artisti o artigiani che possono così esporre e far conoscere le proprie opere o produzioni. 

Dal 2023 è partner ufficiale di Uniqlo Italia. 

 

/ Claudia De Nicolò è nata a Roma nel 1995 dove oggi vive. Dopo gli studi liceali con indirizzo lingue straniere, svolti tra l’Italia e la Germania, frequenta e si laurea presso l’ISFCI di Roma, Accademia di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata. Avvia un percorso lavorativo da libera professionista che la porterà a specializzarsi nella fotografia e nella cura dell'immagine di aziende, brand o artisti del mondo della moda, cinema e musica. Nel corso degli anni approfondisce nuovi linguaggi creativi che le consentono di sviluppare e ampliare personali competenze in qualità di Art Director e di Content Creator.

 

/ Bianca Trevisani, appassionata di fotografia sin dal liceo, frequenta e si laurea all’ISFCI di Roma. Nel 2017 si trasferisce a Londra, dove lavora nel settore fotografico ricoprendo ruoli diversi, fino a diventare manager in uno studio fotografico di Brixton. Nello stesso periodo diventa insegnante freelance di fotografia per un’accademia con sede a Parigi (The Photo Academy). L’esperienza da manager la porta a decidere di aprire uno studio proprio e per questo torna a Roma, dove a luglio del 2020 nasce Kobo grazie alla collaborazione con la collega e amica Claudia de Nicolò. Ad oggi Bianca lavora come fotografa freelance sia nel campo commerciale che per progetti legati a Kobo.

/ KOBO is a creative studio born in September 2020 from the passion of two Roman photographers, Claudia de Nicolò and Bianca Trevisani. The space, located in the heart of Garbatella, develops and creates photographic projects ranging from the world of music to that of fashion and follows the creative path step by step, from artistic direction to post-production. / Claudia De Nicolò was born in Rome in 1995 where she lives today. After high school studies with a focus on foreign languages, carried out between Italy and Germany, he attended and graduated from the ISFCI in Rome, Academy of Photography and Integrated Communication. She began a career as a freelancer that would lead her to specialize in photography and image management for companies, brands or artists in the world of fashion, cinema and music. Over the years she has explored new creative languages ​​that allow her to develop and expand personal skills as an Art Director and Content Creator.

/ Bianca Trevisani, passionate about photography since high school, attended and graduated from the ISFCI in Rome. In 2017 he moved to London, where he worked in the photography sector covering different roles, until becoming manager in a photography studio in Brixton. In the same period he became a freelance photography teacher for an academy based in Paris (The Photo Academy). Her experience as a manager led her to decide to open her own studio and for this reason she returned to Rome, where Kobo was born in July 2020 thanks to the collaboration with her colleague and friend Claudia de Nicolò. To date, Bianca works as a freelance photographer both in the commercial field and for projects related to Kobo.
